Wizkid |
Nigerian Afro-pop star,
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has bought a house in Lagos
for his parents.
The building, located off
Tafawa Balewa Street, Surulere, Lagos, is a five-bedroom bungalow.
A close source told
P.M.Express that Wizkid paid N56 million for the building, while he also spent close
to N4 million to furnish the house.
According to the source,
the whole transaction was perfected in April and it was Wizkid's dad, Alhaji
Balogun, who personally handled the negotiations and paid the money to the
former owner of the building.
"They have little
renovations to do in the building as the former owner, a top corporate
executive, maintain the building very well. All they need to do is to re-coat
the building and moved in," the source said.
Wizkid's parents and his
siblings live in a rented apartment in Shitta Area of Surulere.

nothing! I can't put words together to express how much I love u mom nd
dad! I'll always make u proud," the 26-year old singer wrote on
Instagram at a time.
