The United Kingdom-based Nigerian rising star, K-Kay has arrived the country to heat up the Nigeria music scene with a new single, Sisi To Dun.
K-Kay’s new work, currently enjoying favourable airplay, has attracted one of the music labels in the country, Kennis Music. The singer was one of the headlines during last weekend’s three-day Royal Kennis Music Easter Fiesta held at Elegushi Beach, Lagos.
Kenny Ogungbe, CEO, Kennis Music, described the youngster’s music as “vibrant and energetic and thus qualifies him to be one of the headlines at the fiesta. I was also sent his performance video in the UK and I must say I am impressed too.”
Presently K-kay, real name Okiemute Oseke, is working on a mix tape first album, besides making time to produce for his group. His first album will be released within the next few months.
K-Kay initially began writing his own music before teaming up with close friend, Dubbz Lloyd, to form the group, The AA. Within the period the group was together, they recorded several successful tracks and shot a number of professional videos. He later quit the group for a solo career.
He was born in England, but spent the most of his childhood and education in Nigeria.
